How the Internet Works
The internet is basically everyday use in life. It helps you communicate with others and more. From WiFi to web site addresses to keep information safe for us to look at. Bits is the thing that helps you download things into a computer or phone. It is composed by 1 and 0. We need the internet for everything in life right now. The internet is like a shipping machine but more faster. It packets the routers which find a fast way and the reliability. The to main things of the internet is HTTP and HTML which are two different websites. The internet will be always public to everyone but you have to be safe on it. Many case will be of crime, so that why they made Cyber security to help protect information.Hackers can access personal email, and if you have personal information that you don't want everyone to know then don't use email to tell your friend about it.Don't open files or documents on email unless you recognize the person who sent it. You might get a computer virus from a document that comes through email.Over the next 20 years or so big businesses, universities and other researchers joined this network until they made a web of networks that were all linked. For example all the websites you use to research. ( Google, Yahoo )In order to keep someone safe, you'll need to know about the different types of online dangers that exist. For example, kids and teens may find inappropriate content on the Internet, such as pornography or obscene language. There is also a possibility of cyber bullying or cyber harassment from others online. This does not mean your child will encounter all of these threats. However, knowing about the dangers can help you and your kids make smart decisions online.

10 Keys to Personal Power
Key 1: Clarity
We are living today in perhaps the very best time in all of human history. There have never been more opportunities and possibilities for more people to accomplish more of their goals than exist right now.The level of affluence has never been higher, the average life span has never been longer, the number of options available to you has never been greater and the world situation, in terms of peace and prosperity, has never been more stable. The first and most important of all the qualities you need to truly master your personal power is that of clarity. You must possess the ability to think clearly and with a degree of certainty. The ability to determine exactly what it is that you want to do, have or be in your life is the prerequisite for all personal and professional achievement.Clarity is the starting point of all success. Someone with no sense of where they are going will achieve very little if anything at all.I found this to be such a powerful truth in my own life. When I allowed my problems to get the best of me I lost all direction in life. When I came across a personal development program about the keys to building Personal Power and I listened to the section on clarity it was like a light bulb moment for me.
Key 2 : Competence
"If you commit to excellence, opportunities will always come your way. The harder you work, the better you get."Moving forward in life would be an extreme challenge if you were lacking competence. In developing your own personal power so that you may dictate your life you must develop the competence it takes to get ahead.Competence the second key to building your personal power! Competence is the commitment to becoming excellent in your chosen field.Any man or woman who achieved any level of success in any field of business or personal activity had to first decide to become excellent in that particular field. The power to choose your direction in life is truly in your own hands, if you just study these important keys to success you can achieve your most desired goals. If you are not good at what you do you haven’t a chance in our competitive society. Although your success is predictable if you become competent in your chosen field.Excellence doesn’t just happen upon you it only comes when you totally commit to being 100% competent in your chosen field. This is also true for your personal life, you must commit to truly working on improving yourself in all areas of your life.Remember the 80/20 rule which is where the top 20% of all salespeople make 80% of all the sales and conversely the bottom 80% only make up 20% of all the sales made. This has been proven study after study all over the country and the only difference is that the top 20% had made the decision to become excellent in everything they do in relation to their job.Competence is the key that opens the door to success. This is not only in business the same goes for your personal self-improvement.The successful people knew to build their personal power so that they could control the outcomes in their lives, they would have to become excellent at what they did.
They would do whatever it took to learn as much as they could, they would study the habits of the most successful people in their field and implement what they saw and learned into their own lives.
Key 3: Concentration
"Make the best use of your time. Ask yourself “Is this the best use of my time?” before you start anything."Concentration is critical for the accurate completion of the necessary tasks to accomplish any goal you have set for yourself.Make the best use of your time. Ask yourself “Is this the best use of my time” before you start anything. Before you start your day, before you get in the car, before you watch TV, before you do anything.Have a sense of urgency in everything you do.
Develop a reputation for getting things done FAST. If you develop this reputation, you create a fortune in life.Concentration: Key to effectiveness
a. Best use of time: ask constantly, “What’s the best use of my time?”
b. Develop sense of urgency. Do it now.
c. Completion of each task.
Key 4: Common Sense
Train your mind
think things through
listen to your intuition
learn from setbacks
Sometimes we have the ability to really make a simple situation much more complicated than it has to be. Where as if we slowed things down a bit and used some common sense everything would appear different to us.Action without thinking is the cause of every failure.Listen to your intuition. Your intuition is the best guide you have.Learn from your setbacks. Ask yourself “What is the valuable lesson I can learn from this experience?”When you really know who you are, you don’t have any doubts about who you are! Here is what I mean.Suppose you have an idea and you are looking for financial backing. Suppose you manage to meet with a group of investors who have the funds you need.Do you suppose you will be successful if you have something less than absolute clarity about who you are and what you intend to do? Not likely! However, suppose you prime your mind of success with an image of the radiantly confident person you are becoming. Furthermore, suppose you conduct yourself as this person who is radiantly confident. If this is the case, you will have attained clarity about who you are and what you wish to accomplish. You will be successful whether any given group of investors funds your enterprise or not.The real issue is your clarity. Attain this and the rest follows.
Key: 6 Consideration
"The quality of your relationships with other people will determine your success in life."
"Develop the people skills you need to become a better communicator. Take courses in listening, speaking, etc."
"If you were to learn one new word a day, within 5 years, you’ll be the best educated person in history."
The quality of your relationships with other people will determine your success in life.
Develop the people skills you need to become a better communicator. Take courses in listening, speaking, etc.If you were to learn one work a day, within 5 years, you’ll be the best educated person in history. The more words you have, the better the world is you create.Practice the golden rule “You’ll get out of life, what you put into it.”

most firings, result form personality conflicts
For consideration you should always look into getting along well with everyone, also have the ability to express yourself, communicate well with other & develop the ability to observe different people & predict what other people are thinking. In the end Discipline yourself.

Be the person that people can depend upon. That if you say you’ll do something you do it.."The key to successful completion of any major project in life whether it be personal or professional is consistency. I think this means like you have to take your own responsibility of your actions. Know who are your friends, family and the relationship you have with them.

Be totally committed."The amount of commitment you give to what ever it is that you may be working on will truly determine the successful completion of that particular project. This may be a commitment to a professional project or a commitment you made to yourself personally.
To your company, boss, job
To your family, friends
To yourself, career, success
To your goals
Key 9: Courage
"The fear of failure is the single greatest reason for failure in life."
In developing our own personal power we must be able to display courage in the face of adversity.Pick out the person that you like the least that you deal with on a day to day basis. Next time you see that person, admire something about them. You can comment on their dress, grooming, work, or even their possessions. You will be surprised by how differently that person reacts to you in the future.Courageous people are not afraid, they just face their fears.Fear and courage tend to be habits. If you’re afraid and you back away, you’ll form a habit of always backing away.If you’re afraid and you face your fear, you’ll form a habit of facing your fear and your fears will go away.

Key 10: Confidence
"You only get confidence by doing things over and over again ." Confidence is the driving force to personal power and building a successful and fulfilled life.
Confidence comes as a result of everything else.. You only get confidence by doing things over and over again.Self doubt is the great paralyze of all activity. The only way to overcome it, is by doing the things we would normally would move away from. Continuously moving forward. If you persist until you succeed, you plug into your subconscious mind a success pattern.Once you have this pattern set down, you’ll be able to apply it to something else.
Self-doubt can paralyze
Self-confidence begets achievement
Behave confidently
Everyone wants to be popular with others. You want to be liked and respected among your friends, family, and associates. Above all, you want to like and respect yourself, and to feel yourself to be a valuable and important person. Fortunately, everything you do that makes other people feel good about themselves makes you feel good about yourself as well. You can actually improve the way you feel by making other people feel important. This is the key to great personal relationships.
Reflection
This can benefit me by helping me understand what i need and what i have already. Everyone wants to be popular with others. The 7 Habits of Effective People
Habit 1: Be Proactive
" Habit 1 is the key to unlocking all the other habits and that's why it comes first. It say's, " I am the captain of my life. I can choose my attitude. I'm responsible for my own happiness or unhappiness. I am in the driver's seat of my destiny, not just a passenger." Sorry but i don't need any part time people in my life. You're either with me or you're not. You can't just come and go when you please. What is proactive? Proactive is when you take responsibility on our actions. You know that life have ups and downs but you know it's not your fault and you fight it. Be yourself because an original is worth more than a copy. Happiness dose not depend on what you have or who's with you. It depends on how you think. It takes 21 days to make or break a habit. Accept your responsibility for your actions. Things are what they are when image different and make it seem wrong. Love harder to feel what pain really is.
Habit 2 : Begin with the end in mind.
" Habit 2 control your own destiny or someone else will." This means that I plan ahead and set goals. I do things that have meaning and make a difference. I am an important part of my classroom. I look for ways to be a good citizen. Sometimes following your heart means thinking outside the box. Our deepest fear is the one that makes us strong everyday. You control your emotions and your destiny. Don't let others ruin that for you. Make your move if someone is don't let any thing get in your way. I'm not fighting i'm just explaining way i'm right. Life is to short to worry about stupid things. Have fun, and don't let people bring you down. Yeah sometimes we expect more form others but it's because we gave then more then they gave us.
Habit : 3 Put First Things First.
" Habit 3 Organize and execute around priorities." This means that thing you want to think that is important to you have them in mind to know that it's your important thing to do. Let them miss you. sometimes when you are available , they take you for granted because they think you'll always stay. If one day you are trapped and don't know what to do do what makes you happy, unless you are trying to make them happy and not yourself. Put yourself first. Keep your goals first in mind to accomplish them. And so nothing what get in your way. Take responsibility for your actions. Follow your plans.
Habit :4 Think Win-Win
" Habit 4 Think win -win or no deal." This means that when you know that you will win you will because victory always needs faith. Faith will never let you down no matter where you are. People who don't like you never win. Because negative energy at the end will need cost. Winning is a really good emotion to feel. Why? Because you went though a lot and finally you get paid by winning. You didn't let people down.
Habit: 6 Synthesize
" Habit 6 The whole is greater than the sum of its parts (1+1=3 )"
The outcome of anything is better than having the small parts of the solution. I value other people's strengths and learn from them. I get along well with others, even people who are different from me. I work well in groups. I seek out other people's ideas to solve problems because I know that by teaming with others we can create better solutions than any one of us alone. I am humble. To put it simply, synergy means “two heads are better than one.” Synergize is the habit of creative cooperation. It is teamwork, open-mindedness, and the adventure of finding new solutions to old problems. But it doesn’t just happen on its own. It’s a process, and through that process, people bring all their personal experience and expertise to the table. Together, they can produce far better results that they could individually. Synergy lets us discover jointly things we are much less likely to discover by ourselves. It is the idea that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. One plus one equals three, or six, or sixty–you name it.
Habit: Sharpen the saw
" Habit 7 Four dimensions of self renewable: physical, mental, spiritual, social/emotional." Sharpening The Saw is an ongoing process of personal change -- not something you can binge -- like your favorite TV show (which I sometimes do). You need to define your own balanced, four-dimensional life to be successful! If you are a leader, I believe part of your role is to help the people who report into you and/or look up to you (your family), explore these dimensions and establish goals for themselves.
We all have busy lifestyles; therefore it's no surprise we have to insert Sharpen The Saw into our Time Management best practices and make it part of our Quadrant II priorities (Habit 3). Our future success and ongoing reputation depends on us taking action. I've seen students have great success with this concept.
Stephen says, "It means exercising all four dimensions of our nature, regularly and consistently in a wise and balanced way. To do this we have to be proactive." I love the words exercise and balance. Proactive means we have to plan for it -- to put it in our schedule and protect the time (Quadrant II), for all 4 of the above mentioned dimensions.Self improvement takes time -- just like working out and getting fit. Stephen sees self-improvement as a never-ending upward spiral of 'Learn, Commit, Do'. Personally I see it as a never-ending spiral of 'Commit, Learn, Do.' No matter what your preference of order of those three words, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People is something you have to be mindful of and continually practice. When you begin working out, a trainer will help you receive maximum benefit and minimize injury. In the same vein, a personal coach will help guide your personal change and keep you on track. What Is Your Purpose? What Are You Committed To?
If you work with a personal coach, get them to help you define what your motivator is. What do you want to do / be? What are your values? How do your core competencies need to migrate? What inspires you? How can you live with purpose and integrity... following our values.
Reflection:
There is a gap between stimulus and response, and the key to both our growth and happiness is how we use that space. Do we respond to situations positively, proactively? Are we taking control of our own lives?Meditating on this idea led Covey to start deep communication with his wife, including more and more discussion of their inner worlds. It was a time of inner discovery. They developed two ground rules. First, "no probing," just empathize. Probing was too invasive. The second was when it hurt too much, quit for the day.The most difficult and most fruitful part of this communication came when the vulnerability of each person was touched. They discovered a new sense of reverence for each other. They discovered that even seemingly truthful things often have roots in deep emotional experiences. To deal with the superficial trivia without seeing the deeper, more tender issues is to trample on the sacred ground of another's heart. The ability to use wisely the gap between stimulus and response, to exercise the four unique endowments of our human nature, empowers us from the inside out. (The four endowments are self-awareness, imagination, conscience, and independent will. See the summary of Habit 1 - Be Proactive.)By understanding the role of scripting, we understand the transcendent power in a strong intergenerational family. An effectively interdependent family of children, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins can be a powerful force in helping people have a sense of who they are, where they came from and what they stand for."There are only two lasting bequests we can give our children. One is roots, the other wings."
- Anonymous. We should make a personal goal of becoming a "transition person," a person who changes the scripts transferred to the next generation from negative to positive by being proactive. This should be part of our personal mission statement. A tendency that has run through a family for generations can stop with one person.Anwar Sadat, the former President of Egypt, was a powerful transition person for peace in the Middle East. Sadat said, "He who cannot change the very fabric of his thought will never be able to change reality, and will never, therefore, make any progress."Real change comes from the inside out. Amiel said, "Only these truths... which have become ourselves... are really our life... So long as we are able to distinguish any space whatever between truth and us we remain outside it. To become divine is then the aim of life.... It is no longer outside us, now in a sense even in us, but we are it, and it is we."To achieve unity with ourselves, our loved ones, our friends, and our working associates, is the highest, best, and most delicious fruit of the Seven Habits.Building a character of total integrity and living the life of love and service that creates such unity isn't easy, but it's plausible. If we start with the daily private victory and work from the inside out, results will surely come.
